	- Part #: BA_IT8_GTWY - iT8 Tech Specs & User Guide - Screen Capture of Browser Interface - iT8 Gateway Modbus Memory Map The BarioNet iT8 Gateway communicates with up to 16 of the iT8 Communicating Thermostats via RS485 and exposes all of the data and functions to a supervisory system via ModbusTCP, TCP, or HTTP. The iT8 thermostats can each function as standalone units using internal logic to control the relays and 0-10V outputs based on the value of the built-in temperature sensor. There is also a configurable "Slave Mode" function to allow a higher level control system to perform the program logic and directly control the outputs of the thermostats accordingly.
