The Stainless Steel Flat Plate temperature sensor is used to measure the space temperature in high traffic areas. The 1-wire sensor element used is a DS18B20 with 12-bit resolution and it is mounted on the back of the stainless steel cover. A foam insulater on the back of the cover isolates the sensor from the wall. The flat plate is sized to fit a single gang box. Multiple sensors can be daisy chained on a single CAT5 network that can extend up to 200 meters or more in a typical environment. The sensors can receive data and power over the same CAT5 cable, which saves time and money during install. When used with our X8 Modbus I/O Device, up to 8 of the sensors can be accessed via Modbus-RTU for low cost integration with a PLC System or any other Modbus Enabled Devices. When used with the BarioNet 1-wire Gateway Module, you can pass data from up to 16 sensors to a higher level control system via HTTP, TCP, or ModbusTCP. When used with the BarioNet 1-wire Temperature & Digital Alarming Module, you can monitor, record, and alarm up to eight dry contacts and eight 1-wire Temperature Sensors connected to the BarioNet...
