This Modbus enabled room temperature & humidity sensor can communicate with a supervisory control system on an RS485 network using the Modbus-RTU protocol.
The sensor also outputs two analog 0-10V signals equivalent to the current temperature & humidity, which allows the sensor to be read with simple
analog inputs and/or allows the sensor to be used as a dual tranducer to directly control two actuators or valves based on temperature or humidity.
This sensor's 0-10V outputs can be read by the following DataNab I/O modules:
- Ai32: 32 Analog Input Module
- AiO8: 8 Analog Input/Output Module
- Ai8-R13: 8 Analog Input / 13 Relay Output Module
When used with the BarioNet I/O Gateway solution,
you can pass data from up to 8 of the above I/O modules to a higher level control system
via HTTP, TCP, or ModbusTCP.
When used with the BarioNet Monitoring Application,
you can expose the temperature & humidity data from up to 32 of the MBus_RTH sensors to a user or higher level control system via
HTTP, TCP, or ModbusTCP.
